Coming Clean about my eating...

Stress, stress, stress. I have so much to do and NO desire to do any of it. I just want to go hide. Well, actually I want to run, workout, take naps with my dog and cats, go to dinner and watch movies with my husband and generally avoid all persons under the age of 25. Why can't anyone pay me to do that?

I am eating out WAY too much and allowing WAY too many indulgences.

Must. Stop. Now.

Dude, I seriously can't train for a marathon and GAIN weight. How embarrassing would that be?!

Especially since, in the not-so-distant past I have trained for a triathlon and gained weight.
I have already proven that it is quite easy for me to consume WAY more calories than I can burn even during heavy exercise. For a little person I can pack away some serious food.

Tuesday: Exercise
Run Treadmill (28:50)
Ran 3 miles (9:36 min/mile)
HR monitor: Calories burned: 315 cal

I have shorter runs planned today and Thursday because I have the 30K (18.7 miles) this weekend. I need to keep my legs loose, but not kill them before the long run.

Tuesday: Food
Breakfast

English Muffin w/jam/coffee (155 cal)
Snack

Power Bar (200 cal)
Lunch

JC Cheesy Enchilada (260 cal)
Snack(s)

2 Nutri grain bars (260 cal)
Dinner

Red Robin: Chicken Caesar wrap/side salad (500 cal)
Snack

Chocolate Cake (500 cal)

Total calories in: 1875 cal
Total calories burned from exercise: 315 cal

Yesterday: No exercise rest day, Food fest! I didn't even want to report this
Monday: Food

Stacey,
Hey woman! I read this late last nite after I got in from my social evening!! But I was so tired all I wanted to do was go to bed since it was hours past my bedtime!

I understand the stress stuff-it sucks! And food can be a comfort-and that sucks too! I think that's what happened to me with the ex-by the way he weighed 215 so I lost about 230 of dead fucked up crappy shitty fuck you weight!! Ha take that Kirby you ass!

But don't fret over a few days of food! Look at you-you're a running machine! And you're running in a 30K this weekend-who can say they are doing that? Not many people!! And you did post/fess up whatever you want to call it that you had had 2 bad days-shit that alone is wonderful! Not one of us is perfect-ok...maybe I come close (ha ha) and we can't always do everything the way we want to do it-I'd like to have lost an additional 20lbs but I can't will it off. I'd like to stop my craving for ice cream and potato chips-but I'm human...I break down every so often! Don't worry!!! I'm sure there are other factors in your life that you're stressing about~but at least you have your running and your husband and your animals! As for stopping going out to eat-come and hang with me the unemployed-I'll show you how easy it is to stop! ha ha!

Should Velcro and I come to Sacramento with big signs and Arnold the terminator and scream and yell for you this weekend???? Because we will-I love road trips!!

And as for my 5k-I either have to run the 10k this weekend or run the 5k on sunday and run 6 miles on saturday....I have a few days to think about it!

SMILE!!!!!! You are amazing!!!
