Huh, I kinda like these

These are the professional pictures from Facchino Photography. I always like their pictures of the PCTR events, but usually hate mine.

I actually kind of like these ones from the Skyline to Sea 50K. These would be the first race photos I have ever bought if I do it.

I am still grouchy and my ankles hurt, so I took today off from running. I am going to take it easy this week. I would really like to improve my marathon time at Bizz Johnson this weekend. Unfortunately, the 10 pounds I have packed on since Napa are not going to help.

My goals for the next couple of months are:

1. More swimming

2. More biking

3. More speed work

4. Less Me (which translates into less eating)

All things I am not crazy about, but must do if I want to meet my goals

Do it! Buy it! They are fantastic photos.

I hear you on the "less me" thing. These business trips are killing me. I have to practically starve myself on my off weeks when I'm at home just to keep fitting into my jeans.

Bad news.

you know with all the biking running and swimming you are doing you are, most likely, building more muscle mass therefor weighing more....but who cares. You look good and you are fit! That's really what should be the most important thing, not the fact that you are 10lbs heavier. Shit, I gain weight before I start my period and you did say you were PMS'ing.

Sorry if I sound crash and uncaring but you are not heavy! You look great! Love who you are!!! I know it's hard and we all want to be skinnier, prettier, whatever-but you know sometimes it just can't and wont happen! Genetics are a strong!

You know. The goals that you have are wonderful. I have them too. Remember something though...if you really do want to lose weight go and get you Body Fat done. That way you can compare that percentage going down...not a number on the scale. Because it may not move, muscle really does weigh more.

With that said though -- I want a lot less of me. The squishy parts. So I understand! :)

Peace!

I agree on having the body fat part done. I want to do this too because I'm not seeing movement on the scale. Granted - I'm not near as active as you, but I still am active and eat healthy so you would think something would change. You are fit and beautiful! Love it! Enjoy it!

God, could you look like you're having any more fun?!? These are great! Get them and frame them.

Good luck with your goals. I'm sure 1-3 will help with 4.

What great pictures - you look like a strong, happy runner. I usually look like the total opposite of a runner and miserable.

Good luck with the goals...kinda have the same ones here, too.

Buy em! Beautiful pics! If I ever had pics come out like that I would definitely buy them! I am always either grunting, grimacing, gritting my teeth, growling at the photographer for having the "noive" to take my pics or all of the above lol.

I am with you on the less of me thing. For the last 4 days I have been having a midnight rendezvous with a bag of Hershey's kisses that I have hidden in my sock drawer *sigh*. SOmebody go break into my house and take em please!!! You would think waking up feeling like total dog crap the last several mornings would be a big enough hint to me to stop but unfortunately I think I need a shovel to the head :o(

I like those pictures! You look great in them.

I think the next plan sounds good. But I didn't see anything about enjoying yourself.

Or having fun.

Although you look like you're having a great tim ein those pics. Your smile goes on and on! That's awesome.
