We ride again!

Today at work was better than yesterday (really, how could it not be?) and it is Friday, so no cherubs for 2 whole days. I will take it!

After school hubby and I went for a bike ride. We rode a loop that he usually does which is 17.3 miles. It was a good ride and the weather was gorgeous. My legs are still feeling pretty crappy from Wednesday. Hopefully they will be ok for my run tomorrow.

Which leads me to my next bit of good news: my run buddy from LA is here! She is going to run with me tomorrow. I have picked a new Open Space Preserve to run and a loop that will be 7.2 miles so we will see how it goes.

I am beat. I am going to hit the hay!

Hey Stacey,

I'm really glad you are feeling better and that you got a ride in yesterday! The weather has been so clear it's unbelievable! I look forward to hearing how your 7.2 mile loop went this morning. Trail runs really are wonderful! I hope you took a few pictures! I'm off to Pilates today and then Perf is going to the vet. I feel like I spend half my time at the vet.

OOOH, I'm jealous. I have a brand new mountain bike and nowhere to ride it (I'd planned on using it where I live - half of a farm) but the landlord sold the tract of land in the middle (including the thruway road) so it's now off limits. No bike trails here and the only other option is riding on 60mph roads no shoulder. AACK. So I'm stuck with a huge two-wheeled paperweight!
