I am freaking out about today's ride. If the mean girls drop me and leave me for dead on the 40 mile ride today, it has been great knowing you all.

Good luck and watch out for the phantom "Willie's". I'm surprised you haven't ditched the mean girls yet?? You are a better person than me. I would have dropped them after the first encounter.

Screw the mean girls! Ride it by yourself if you have to! You are a better person than they are anyway!

Good job on your 10 miler yesterday! I'm hoping to get one in myself today after herding!

Beat the mean girls by being wonderful YOU!

Most group rides that welcome new (perhaps slower) folks will have a sweeper, someone who will stay with them. If they drop you and leave you for dead, find another group to ride with. Often co-ed groups are friendlier and some guys just love hanging back with cute women ;-)

Hope the ride went well!
