Let the record reflect...

I swam not ONE, but TWO times this week!

And I rode my bike

in the cold

I had to buy tights and everything!

I am willing to entertain the idea that I may have a problem with the LOL cats...

I know, those of you back east that are being pummeled by snow and ice storms, are saying "Quit your bitching you California wussy!" And you would be 100% justified in saying so. I am a bona fide California weather wussy.

Too hot (above 85), I whine. Too cold (below 50) , I whine. Too cloudy (not full, beautiful sun), I whine. You get the picture.

I also, however, paid a RIDICULOUS sum to purchase my 900 sq. ft. house that is located precariously close to The Pink Poodle strip club, so there are pros and cons to everything.

Anyhoo....

IT IS FRIDAY!!! Not just any Friday mind you, the Friday before the Holiday break!!! I am not sure who was watching the clock more, me or the kids, but ...

I AM DONE!! TWO WHOLE WEEKS WITH NO CHERUBS!

Well, not exactly "no" cherubs, I have a AP lab tomorrow (only 2.5 hours) and two AP lectures on Monday and Tuesday ( 2 hours each. I am a smidge evil), but then I am completely CHERUB FREE!

On another note:

I finally did something about the microscopic font on my blog. I don't know if I am just getting old, but it was too darn hard to read.

I just LOVE the pic of the cats! I am a huge cat person, so that was awesome! I just un-buried us from 12 inches of snow yesterday, so NO whining! I love winter, I know, weird, rare breed, freak, whatever you want to call me! I swam 4 times this week-I'm signed up for the 100 mile club at our local pool-after reaching the 100 miles you get a T-shirt! whoo-hoo. I'm such a competitive ass! Enjoy your day-I sure hope it's warmer than 50 degrees, and less then 89!

Nice job on the workouts...even in the cold (below 50 is cold for me too!)

I'm a huge fan of LOL cats. Keep 'em coming.

I'm a weather wimp too, just with different criteria. Grey skies are no good. Moisture falling from the sky is no good. Humid days (anything over 30%) are no good. Moisture on the ground (frozen or no) is no good. And on hot sunny days - running paths without shade are no good. I think that pretty much sums it up.

Keep the LOL cats, they give me a good laugh sometimes when I need it.

Hey hon,
I ran in the misty cold blah this morning and I ran in 25* coldness last week and I hated/loved every minute of it. I never got warm (like at the CIM) but it was nice to get out and move those muscles and the puppy on crack really needed to get some energy out so that was a plus too.
YEAH for winter break. Hope you are planning something fun. Those AP kids are almost as dedicated as their very cool teacher hu?

Get your girlie ass out there in the cold and bike it! Even in never-really-cold south carolina it's in the 30's today. i'm still going to run 5 miles.

Enjoy the holiday break. You deserve it. have fun!
