Posted purely to make myself feel better

It is mid year, so I thought I would post my Year-to-Date training totals. Just an excuse to post this and make myself feel better.

YTD 2008

Run: 472.2 miles (last year at this time: 116.5 miles)
Bike: 808.9 miles (last year at this time: 44.3 miles)
Swim: 37,229.0 yds. (last year at this time: 0 yards)

I have covered 1315 miles on my own power and I have worked out over 175 hours so far this year! Woo hoo!

Slight downside:

The same report says I have burned 88,699 calories doing all of this exercise. Yet, I have GAINED weight since January. Hmmm... looks like my calorie replacement has been... let's say... overly exuberant. Need to work on that.

That is some serious mileage girl!! You GO!!! Heck especially that swim mileage!!

The Barb's race swim should be interesting in that river. I may want to do that one next year, it looks really cool.

Wow! Look how far you've gone. That's amazing. Progress, baby! Not perfection. And the caloric intake? Well, that can be remedied!

I started my blog so I could brag about myself! Haha!

Great job on your accomplishments. BTW, Lindy and I had dinner the other night and totally talked about you! Like we know you... :)

Wow, heck of an improvement over last year. As for the weight, perhaps some of it is increased muscle mass? I don't know about you but since I started biking and swimming, I've got more muscles in places I never had when I just ran ...

Nice Stats! Wow, I guess you become a real runner when you start admiring women for their running stats. Oh my, look at the miles on that! U-la-la... Bet her lactate threshold is off the charts! I'd love to see her VO2 stats...
