Fun new idea! Calling all racers!

I spend entirely too much time searching for race reports and trying to remember who is racing, where they are racing, and when. So I decided to start a Google calendar with races and then include links to the blogs of people that are racing in them.

I am really lame at all this stuff so I am sure there is a WAY easier way to do this so if you have suggestions (and can explain them in a way that a 3 year old can understand) I will change it.

For now, I would like everyone to give me their races (in a comment is fine or you can email it, but be sure to give a link to your blog if you email.)

I have just started and I will add races and links as I troll around. I don't even have all my races on there yet.

If you would rather not be on the calendar let me know and I will take it off.

Las Vegas Half - Dec. 7

Thanks!

I heart Google Calendar... I have approximately... oh... six color-coded calendars.

I am totally in.

October 12, 2008: Chicago Marathon

Hey RBR...

It took me a couple of days to get here, but I too was FREAKING OUT AND EXCITIED that you and I ran the RnR in SD in about the same time too... I was completely looking for me in your photos (and for you in mine...loved the hot pink!)... Sorry you had such a rotten time w/the traffic in SD. Next time, email me and I'll have Walter send you "locals" directions :-)

Your race report made me laugh...as did your comment on my site. Thanks for visiting (and my response is way too long...and I don't have a shut-in excuse!)

I love your calendar idea. I'm running the America's Finest City 1/2 Marathon on August 17 and the Nike Women's Half on October 19.

Great idea but since I'm a fat slob right now and can't run I'm getting depressed about the races i can't run and want to run...SUCKS! But screw it...I'm HOPING to run the Santa Cruz half and the Long Beach half if my body doesn't give up like it has for the San Fran half that i can't run this weekend!!!

I am running the Rock 'n Roll Half in Virginia Beach. Aug 31, 2008

New cycling boyfriend ( I really hate that term, but I don't know what else to use) wants to do a triathlon, so I said I'd do one with him. So we are looking for one to do in the Spring of 2009. You just knew I would get there didn't you! LOL

Hey! This is a great idea!!

Only thing on my plate right now is the Seagirt 5K this sunday (the 3rd). Hoping once this Upper Respiratory thing is completely gone to start upping my distance.
