Maybe I got caught up in all the Ironman excitement and flurry of finishes and PRs at IMCdA, but it somehow translated into my registering for this
It's on, baby!
Yikes! I am more than a little terrified right now

OH. MY. GOSH.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Wow.
Ya know, this really really makes me wish I was ready so I could sign up with you. But, I'm not.
SO I get to follow you as you train for it -- YES!!! Oh my gosh I am slightly jealous and slightly relieved I am not doing it. Look at what you have done to me AAAAH.
Okay, seriously I am proud of you for doing this and am very happy for you and admire you for taking the plunge.
[on and for the record I am 100% with ya on the no ocean swim thing. Gimme a cold choppy lake over the ocean any day of the week].
Holy shit. I am sitting on couch telling my boyfriend, "OMG RBR signed up for Ironman CDA." Which kinda sounds like that phone commerical ;). And, he's all, "Who?" And I'm all "RBR." And then he thinks I'm crazy.
I have to come clean, part of the reason I keep saying 2010 is that MM (boyfriend) is going to train for an Ironman then... and I feel like that would be a lot of support for me along the way. The other part is the whole, not yet finishing a marathon business.
My point is, I was like "MM, let's sign up for 2009! We can do it." He brought me back down to earth.
But I too am slightly jealous, and THRILLED for you, and excited to be able to be a part of your journey.
God I'm wordy.
Yay! So excited for you!
Is you crazy?
You've got balls just for registering!
Oh I am so psyched right now!! How is it that you sign up for something for yourself and it gets me all pumped up. I think as long as I stay injury free I will end up tri'ing, not sure if I will ever get that far though.
Looking forward to seeing how you prep for it!!!
WOWZER! Go girl! For the record I am incredibly excited for you and not the least little bit jealous. :D (Maybe someday (after, you know, doing something longer than a sprint race) I might be jealous of the door you've opened.) However - I am very happy for you. I think you are going to need to corner Misty at Barb's race and pump her for all kinds of inside information!!!
You are da bomb! This is going to be a great year for you!
You crazy and brave woman! Go for it!
YEEHAW!!! I've got a big IM monkey on my back but, thankfully, no desire to do IMCDA. Look forward to going along for the ride with you, though!

My next race? The Golden Gate Vista 10K. Also thinking about the SF half on August 3rd....Hmmmmm. KInd of scared.
WOOT! After your Biily Bob Backyard Bend Over No KY here race the Ironman CDA should be like a day at the spa with massages n margaritas!!! You GEAUX girl!
