Don't tell my husband but I think I'm in love

This is a totally stalker moment, but I want to be her. Of course, I will need a time machine and gene therapy to correct some unfortunate genetically encoded pie addiction, but there are some amazing advances in science, so I will keep my fingers crossed.

She is an ultrarunner, with a special love for running 100 miles (not in a month, not in a week, in ONE DAY!) Here is her blog, very inspiring.

The 13.1 miles I am going to run tomorrow sounds somewhat less impressive now, but nevertheless I will be heading down to San Miguel to do the Buzz 1/2 Marathon tomorrow morning. My knee feels pretty good it was sore after the shot yesterday and the doctor said not to run on it, so I didn't. this is a sucky week mileage wise, but on the up side....

IT IS VACATION! NO CHERUBS FOR A WHOLE WEEK!

I'd want her body and maybe one tattoo!!

Hey I'm so bummed I couldn't run the Buzz with you today!!! I'm kinda irritated that my mornings are being occupied shovelling someone else's cat shit! I think next week I'm going to have to tell them I need one morning either saturday or sunday!!

How was it? How did you do? Was it hilly? You were up at some ungodly hour woman!! I was sawing logs while you were driving! Damn-talk about dedication!

I have to run 8 miles today-I'm finding it boring running around my neighborhood...must find an 8 mile route somewhere...it's hard when you don't have anyone to push you out the door to run your long run. A training program is so good for that! And I don't have any friends who run!!

RUN BITCH RUN!!!!! just in case no one yelled it for you today!!!

Good luck, I hope the knee holds out for you. I think I may be in love too! She seems awesome, really getting everything out of life. Something to strive for..

Okay I'm savin' this chick's blog. I tend to be interested in ANYONE who has the balls to express themselves the way this woman does. Her appearance screams, "I am who I am, take it or leave it." I LOVE people like that.

I'm saving her blog. The climbing pictures got me. That's something I REALLY want to do but no gym with a climbing wall here. I'm surrounded by mountains though and there ARE climbing clubs here (with men! woo hoo!). Hmm. Now ya got me thinkin.

PS: AND she seems to totally appreciate the beauty of animals. Big shocker, huh. LOL

Dying to know how you did yesterday! The leg is feeling better, thanks for asking. I am on the Chinese Linament that PKPWV suggested so I now have a million years of Chinese medical knowledge working for me. I hope 70 days is enough to get me below 4 hours. Let us know how you did.
